[Software Phone] Android How to install Khmer Unicode in Xperia X10


First Method

How to install:
- Make sure you already rooted your phone.
- Copy Nokora font to your phone.
- Open Custom Android Font Switcher you just installed from Market.
- Click on Local Font and choose Nokora font you copied to your sd card then Apply.
- Phone will restart. And try to open music player now you can see Khmer Unicode properly.
Note: for this method web browser it doesn’t work well with Khmer unless you use Khmum Browser and for Facebook you can use FriendCaster in market it work well with Khmer.

Second Method

You have to install Custom Rom MIUI

How to install:
- Copy MIUI Rom zip file and libskia_khmer_armv7-signed you just downloaded to your SD Card.
- Make sure your phone rooted and already installed xRecovery.
- Boot phone to recovery mode by press back button many times when phone startup.

- Backup to prevent losing data and you can restore it if your phone has problem.
- Wipe your data (Factory reset (Full Wipe), Wipe cache partition, wipe Dalvik Cache)
- Install custom zip => choose MIUI ROM zip file and wait until complete.
- Reboot your phone. It might take several minutes to go to home screen for the first start with MIUI.
- Then reboot your phone to recovery mode again and choose install custom zip=> find and libskia_khmer_armv7-signed.zip in your sd card and install it and wait until finished then reboot your phone to normal mode.
- Install Custom Android Font Switcher from Market in your phone.
- After installed, open it and install font Nokora.ttf in sd card then it will restart phone.
- Now try to open music player and see what your Khmer Unicode look like.
- If you still cannot see it. Try to copy libskia.so and libskiagl.so from libskia_khmer_armv7-signed=> system=>lib to directory /system/lib in your phone. Usually it already has these name in the directory so you have to rename it to another name and then start copy libskia.so and libskiagl.so
- That’s it.
